Just a couple of weeks before the start of a new golf season and we have a great year ahead of us. We have eleven events planned this year, three of which will be on our Annual Tour in September and takes us to North Wales for the first time.
Throughout the year I hope to arrange a few odd days out to include visits to courses
like Wychwood Park, Buxton High Peak Golf Club, Hill Valley and Telford. I will try
and give as much notice as possible in case any of you wish to play and need to arrange
time off work etc. These extra games will not be eligible for the Society Order of
Merit Competitions. I am hoping to arrange a competitive green fee rate at Gorstyhill
Golf Club for anyone that wants to play on Friday afternoons when we are not playing
on Society Days—more later.
